Consigning two Registered Black Angus Heifers
—Heifer 1: S&T Miss Black Betty JTS – Here is another beautiful heifer from the Black Lucy tribe at Bell Key Angus in Idaho . This calf is the daughter of the cow that Jake Severance showed in the three year futurity program in Lane County . And yes, you saw correctly! A G-13 structure daughter out of a Newsline daughter! This calf will work in the field as well as the show ring. I hope you like her as well as we do. Jake is offering her in hopes that someone else can have the success with her that he has had with this cow family. The Black Lucy cow family had two of the final 5 cow calf pairs in the Futurity that started with 15 animals, one of which had the honor of being the overall Supreme Champion Futurity Heifer winner!
— Heifer 2: S&T Buffy LU – This beautiful heifer is out of a Black Lucy (one of the prominent cow families as Bell Key Angus in Nampa , Idaho ). This is the third calf from this cow. Her first calf was a bull that hung at 850 lbs at just 13 months old. Her second calf was a 4-H steer. Now you can see the pounds on the ground with this heifer. Her sire is Buffalo ’s Conclusive, a 338 son on display in Denver in 2006. She will perform in the field for any cattleman. If weight at weaning is still what the cattle business is about, take a look at this one.
